METEORITE IMPACTS AND THE LIFE

Life on Earth has always been full of curiosity about the sky, yet the forces that shape its evolution lie hidden within the stars themselves. Early Earth was like a hellscape, and it was perhaps meteorite impacts that brought the first seeds of life. Meteor fireballs stirred panic among giant creatures while revealing the critical role of Earth’s atmosphere in safeguarding life. Later, a collision between the Moon and an approaching comet averted a potential disaster that might have befallen our planet. These events, akin to the ‘breathing’ of the universe, have profoundly influenced the trajectory of life on our blue planet. Eventually, the arrival of an asteroid ended the age of dinosaurs on Earth, paving the way for the emergence of new life forms. We will traverse hundreds of millions of years in this film to witness how astronomical events have acted as invisible yet powerful directors in the epic of Earth’s life evolution.
